The album "CrazySexyCool" is the second studio album by American musical group TLC, released by LaFace Records on November 15, 1994. It peaked at #3 on the Billboard 200 and at #2 on the Billboard Top R&B Albums Chart, spawned four top-ten singles on the Billboard Hot 100, two of which went to #1, and won the group two Grammys and became the group's biggest-selling album to date selling more than 16 million copies worldwide. All of these made TLC the first female super star group in history to ever be. After their receiving Grammy awards, I bought this CD from a wholesale retailer online. To buy wholesale online really saves me much money! With a mix of outstanding numbers and mediocre tracks, this album is unforgettable.

After a rap introduction for the start here comes the first real track "Creep" which topped the U.S. Hot 100 for four weeks, which made it one of the biggest singles of the 1990s and third most successful Hot 100 Single of 1995. From the smooth sounds of the trumpet to the first "oh yes" really get the mood started. T-Boz's raspy voice sounds lazy and works just right in the track.

Unfortunately, The next track "Kick Your Game" is a little boring and plain. After this weak song, "Diggin’ On You" is a decent song with smooth vocals and okay lyrics. It doesn't really grab your attention and the song is simply average.

The fourth real track of the album, "Case Of The Fake People" is a song that starts off with a lot of great potential, but it becomes a song that could have been good but is simply alright. Then the album runs into an interlude, titled "CrazySexyCool - Interlude" which describes what a crazy sexy cool woman would be like.

The album picks back up again with "Red Light Special". This is a sexy and slow song which becomes another top ten hit on the U.S. Bilboard Hot 100. Outside the States, "Red Light Special" reached the top 10 in Canada and the United Kingdom and among others. In the song, the girls croon for love with the sound of a guitar and the slow snare in the background. Overall, this is a wonderful track with graceful harmony.

Up next, and probably the best song on the album, is "Waterfalls". The lyrics deal with many issues plaguing society including the issues of drug dealing and HIV, aiming straight for the core of matters. The singing is filled with deep soul. "Waterfalls" was the third single that peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. It became the second most successful Hot 100 Single of 1995.

After another interlude, "Let's Do It Again" is an average song about making love which sounds a bit like "Red Light Special" with a tired effort.

The eleventh track on the album "If I Was Your Girlfriend" is a funky song. I want to say this is a pretty decent song but not the best. The next interlude shows the girls are the same old playful ones from the first album, though why that is, you'll have to listen and find out yourself.

"Take Our Time" is another track that highlights the way the girls have really slowed down the pace since their debut album which has decent vocals but just doesn't make much impact.. That is to say it sounds unenthusiastic and really cannot grab your attention.

Featuring Busta Rhymes, the album has the last interlude near the end. After it, "Switch" is enjoyable song and moves along quickly. Left Eye's rap works powerfully. This is a pleasant listen and you will hear about that if your man's giving you grief, just switch to a new man.

"Sumthin’ Wicked This Way Comes" is an example of how raps should be handled. Andre of Outkast starts the song off and immediately sets the mood with a few brilliant lines. The chorus is also done nicely by the girls, as is the second verse.

To sum up, this is a nice album with some great classics. Still, the album falls short with many so-so tracks that lack enthusiasm. Anyhow this is the glory of TLC’s.
